  (Findon Sheep Fair on Nepcote Green with Church Hill in the distance, by unknown artist.) Findon Sheep Fair was been held on Nepcote Green each September, for many generations. The village festival took over following the foot-and-mouth disease closures of the South Downs during the year 2000.  The photograph above shows Findon Sheep Fair in 1998, looking westwards down Nepcote Green towards Findon Village, with Church Hill in the distance [aerial photograph / map].
