Findon Probus Club
Established 21st January 1986

Membership
Retired, or semi-retired, professional and business men living in Findon Village, Findon Valley, High Salvington, Clapham, Patching, Washington, Steyning (or anywhere in close proximity of these areas) are welcome to join the club.

About the club
The club meets every month, on the 3rd Thursday, for a lunch at The West Worthing Tennis Club, and after lunch there is always a very interesting guest speaker; apart from 3 months, two of which are for ladies' luncheons and one for a dinner, when members' wives/partners and widows are invited. These latter meetings are generally held at the Worthing Golf Club.

Coffee mornings, also with members' wives/partners and widows (ie an opportunity to get to know one another better in the convivial atmosphere of some hostelry, or restaurant, and discuss possible future club events/outings etc - £2.50 per person), are held on the 1st Thursday of each month, except for July, August and September.

Each year, day outings are arranged with wives/partners/widows (eg a day trip to France, visit to the House of Commons, an evening members' skittles match, a members' croquet match, a luncheon trip on the Thames, a trip to the theatre, etc).

Average cost of day trips/events are around £20-£30 per person. On occasion members of other local Probus clubs may be invited to join in, to make up numbers.

Cost
Annual subscription £10.
Regular luncheon meetings £11 per person, per meeting.
