Located in a beautiful downland village, in one of the sunniest places in the country just north of Worthing in West Sussex, gardening is a favourite occupation of many of the residents. To complement this, the Association holds a number of events throughout the year. We hold a annual quiz together with a Christmas Social event which is hugely popular.

For ten months of the year, on the last Friday of the month, there is an Association meeting with guest speakers. Subjects range from specialist plants to topics of general interest. Every one is made welcome, regardless of membership. There is a raffle each month together with refreshments on the night. The topics for our talks vary from subjects such as 'Showing Sweet Peas', 'Planting up a hanging basket' and 'Garden Design'. Twice a year, in April and August, flower shows are held at the Village Hall, with the main show in August attracting many entries including children's classes in addition to various other stalls, many having a craft or rural connection.

The Association encourages all to participate, young and old, to have fun and participate in a traditional village social event. The Association organises two or three popular trips a year to gardens of special beauty and interest, recent trips have included Wisley as well as Sissinghurst and Great Dixter.
