I love working with wood and enjoy making nice wooden boxes.
Here a few of the boxes that I have made.
I make various small wooden boxes from different hardwoods,
some of which are inlaid with bandings - some are veneered,
including jewellery boxes, pencil boxes and music boxes.
I have always found wooden boxes intriguing.
A wooden box invites you to discover what is inside it.
Fine wooden boxes are particularly alluring;
a well-made box entices you to touch all its surfaces and examine how it was made.
The three little boxes shown below were displayed
at the RAG
Artists & Makers Exhibition, at St Matthew's
Church, Tarring Road, Worthing, West Sussex, on 4th
& 5th June 2004.
